Auditions for Flying High 2020
Flying High 2020 will be performed at the Derby Theatre, from Wednesday 12th to Saturday 15th February 2020, this is the week before the Derbyshire Schools' half term.

Auditions are open to all members of the Scout and Guide Association of age 8 years and above at the time of the show.

  • You are not required to come to both auditions, just the one that suits you best.
  • All applicants need to bring the completed application form together with a passport size portrait photo of themselves with their name written on the back. The application form can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.
  • Applicants will be required to do simple movement to music and sing in groups. The song used for the auditions will be 'How far I'll go'. The lyrics, and sheet music can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.
  • Uniform is not required for the auditions but please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for movement

Everyone who attends will be notified of the result of the auditions as soon as possible afterwards.

Rehearsals for those successful will take place every Saturday evening date commencing:

Saturday 7th September 2019 at The Scout and Guide Centre, 120 Osmaston Road, Derby DE1 2RF

From Saturday 4th January 2020 rehearsals will take place at Borrow Wood Primary School, Arundel Drive, Spondon, Derby DE21 7QW

There will be some additional specialist rehearsals as and when required.

Cast members will be expected to make a commitment to the show and attend all rehearsals
